Raccoon proofing my garden . Tops of corn stalks snapped . Might be raccoon as corn coming into silk . Leaving Moe & Eli out in pen/ shed tonight . Should keep raccoon away .

Waldo a blue eyed Blue Merle of unusual coloration . Considering selling him as am overstocked & Town of Glenville may be limiting dog numbers soon . Also a year old this Easter .

Jelly Bean was a year old at Easter . He's looking for a good home . He's a purebred Cardigan but his ears never went up , even after taping . Asking a $100 fee , as breeder's rule ; free puppies never see the vet !

Self paper trained ? Yesterday Jasper had an accident by the bathroom door . To keep Jasper from tracking through his tinkle , I dropped some newspaper . A little later Jasper returned to tinkle again . This morning Jasper returned to the paper to poop ! I'm leaving a sheet of slightly peed newspaper there  to keep Jasper on track .

Maddie ( top ) , a Blue Merle w/ tan points , earned her AKC championship in just 8 shows . Breeze , Maddie's cousin , has inquiries from German kennel owners .

Shadi's resting place & well wishes . It was because of the well wishes I made the site as big as Roosevelt's Gravesite at New Hyde Park & reinforced with cement blocks to stop looting !

Shadi was 16 this April . She was showing signs of failing this winter but rallied just before her birthday . She was the old Shadi ; barking to be fed , running the ramp to the porch , growling at the the other girls , & telling me when anyone was misbehaving . Recently she started failing & it's time to say good bye . I picked out a nice spot where Shadi can continue to supervise . Was with Shadi 13 years , longer than my marriage . She's a great great great grandmother . Now it's time for Shadi to rest .
