Sunday made two weeks since Eli was returned to Big Ears Kennel . He's fitting in well . He's showing some of his playful personality . Boy is he smart ! Not much of an out door boy . Would rather lie under the table in the basement , watching Kate do puzzles while the cats give him dirty looks !

More George !

With all these shows , George would have been finished if they had more points . To be a AKC champion a dog needs 15 points , of which 2 were major shows ( George has one ) & shown under 4 different judges ( George has that & then some ) . Trouble is because Welsh Cardigans are so rare , major shows are rare . Plus some states need more Cardigans to be considered a major show . Then when my handler finally lands a major show for George , someone drops out & breaks the major !

Eli is a 6 year old Blue Merle , that is micro chipped & fixed . Because Eli has some nipping problems , he will be my guest for a whils . Hopefully after a couple of weeks in quarantine , he will mix with my pack . If Eli blends in & gets over his nipping , he may be available to an approved home .

Labor Day Re-cycle !

Wheel barrows are associated with labor , right ? What's more fitting than rebuilding a wheel barrow on Labor Day ? The tin tub rotted through . To replace the tin tub , it would cost as much as a whole wheel barrow . So I re-cycled an old crate & now have a poly-tub wheel barrow reusing the old but good carriage . Can't beat the price !
