Dragon's Final Day .

Dragon's health has been failing for several months . He has a gastro-digestive condition , that steadily worsened , in spite of veterinarian care & medication . Today the vet will come to end Dragon's weakening hardship . He was rescued from the perils & stress of the race track . Kate has cared for her beloved pet in health & sickness . I'll miss him hanging out in the kitchen & stealing unguarded sandwiches . Kate will miss walking him to the park . We picked a spot for him , back by the garden . His easy nature & grace will be missed .

    Dragon's photos and stories have made me very happy for years now. Rest in peace, sweet boy. Kate....heartfelt sympathy.

    I'm very sorry to hear....rest sweet boy. We had a brindle greyhound w inflammatory bowel disease....it was terrible.

    We watched Dragon with good days & not so good , slowly lose to this weakening condition .
