Improving !

| Thanks to well wishers & Mother Nature , Stella's hardy Cardigan constitution is kicking in . Stella had developed a slight annoying cough from chewing things in the yard . First vet suggested rehoming Stella . My gut feeling was , try harder . Second vet , suggested doubling medication . Did so & added a few old school tricks ! Changed diet to a salmon based feed for sensitive stomaches . Charcoal biscuits . A soup bone to chew while in crate . Limiting her outdoor time to get into trouble . Recent yogurt addition seems to help . Haven't noticed her rasping cough for 3 days ! Is Stella's on the mend or wishful thinking ? Guess my Scott-Irish pedigree , to stubborn to give up on such a grand dog ! |
