The pups are placed ! In a usual year it would take 2 - 3 weeks to schedule visits with showing starting at 5 weeks & continue for 5 weeks .  In this unusual year we scheduled in 2 days ( emails spread over 5 hours ) & a few days showing !It was like taking a condensed college summer course , with testing every day ! Pressure makes diamonds !

Looking For " Approved Homes " !

Not really !There seems to be quite a misunderstanding about term “ approved home “ . In the 20 years I’ve been raising. selling , & showing Cardigans , I’ve met a lot of characters . One fellow wanted to rent a litter for his child’s birthday party . Another wanted to resell to a Russian market . A pet store owner contacted me . A women with 5 children in diapers wanted a puppy for her children to play with . One fellow wanted to send an agent & ship all the pups I had , to Europe . This is why I came up with the term “ approved home “ . By approved home , one would state interest in Cardigans & home offered . We would review inquires for best home & reject others .

Earlier post stated June 15 would announce pups available to approved homes , after first wave of selections . Puppies are living creatures subjected to Nature's time table , not Human schedules . Pup's will be ready to leave this weekend ( June 19 ) .

Emails are wonderful inventions . When I worked for USDA people would leave emails & assume they automatically had an appointment . See a few assume sending an puppy inquiry grantees an scheduled visit ? The process to assure a scheduled visit is " approved home " & pups available . We have 9 puppies with a population of 60 million within a 350 mile radius . Leads me to remember " Many are called but few are chosen " . Yet some will get a Cardigan , if not this litter , the next . Keep following our blog .
