Monk ?

In the Monk series , Monk would only eat food if it was separated . Jane must have watched the series !   Her stomach is pressed  with a " belly " full of puppies , surprising her appetite . No matter what exotic mixture of foods I supply , no interest . Then I supply the most basic tasteless foods , in separate bowls . . . & you see the results ! Thanks Monk !

True Love !

Jane's getting a lot of credit for our up & coming Dec 6 litter , but everyone forgets George ! George is not only the sire of Jane's litter , he's a Grand Champion & AKC favored status for litters sired ! Yet I like George for being a swell guy with all the Cardigan qualities ancient Welsh farmers desired . I named him after my Japanese childhood friend , who died in Vietnam . He's a good boy !

More Jane !

 Note bed in background ? Comes in handy when waiting for whelping to start ( up to 3 days ) & helping newborn pups nurse ( 2 days ) .

50 Pounds Of Love !

 Jane hit 50 pounds & still has 3 weeks to go ! Does this mean a big litter ( many puppies ? ) a big litter ( big puppies ? ) or a big litter ( many big puppies ? ) ? Running her through the Whelping Room so she'll be at home for the big event !

Brand New Breed ?

Went surfing online .  Saw a breeder offering a new exciting breed ; American Corgi ? Turns out to be another designer mutt ! They cross a Cardigan with a Pembroke , a practice AKC banned in 1931 .  Of course this " new breed " can't be registered with AKC & the offspring won't breed true . There is a growing get rich business , besides puppy mills , trading on the Cardigan breed . So buyer beware .
