For decades , people who visited to become Cardigan owners , were subjected to our Nickel Tour ! As a visitor you were subjected to tales ( not tails ! ) of Cardigan Confirmation ( some true ! ) & forced to view walls of show ribbons , before playing with puppies . The Nickel Tour is canceled due to Virus restrictions . Here's what you were " missing " ( added more ribbons since ) . . .
Last several days were on the minus scale with windchill minus 20 . Only the brave Cardigan lovers would travel for a puppy ! This morning was minus 6 with 9 to 12 inches of snow predicted for Monday ! Think that will slow down even the hardy Cardigan seekers !
Jane & George had a litter of nine exceptional pups . We fell in love with a Black & White girl with tan points & named her Molly . Then there were 8 . After 2 days of scheduled visits of approved homes , we now have 2 girls we can place . One is a Blue Merle with tan points , the other is a Black &White with brindle points . Fighting bitter Winter weather & pending snow storms , might mean waiting till the next weekend to show them .
Our Blue Merle girl will enjoy her new home in Vermont !
Below zero weather didn't stop this mother & daughter from traveling from Michigan & NYC to drool over our Cardigan pups ! All boys gone but a few Blue Merle & a Black & White girls left .
Cold as it is , another pup finds a home with another Cardigan , Will be a 2 Cardigan home in this cold spell !
This little girl found a home in spite of it being the coldest day in 2 years ! She will be with a Blue Merle male we placed a few litters ago . Too cold to pose for photos , so this one will have to due !
Will be showing pups to approved schedule homes this weekend . Have to battle arctic cold , bright sunlight , dark living room , glare , & virus restrictions ! Best plan is : masks , hand sanitizers , porch viewing & limited contact . Idea of set up . . .
