Cardigan Trio !
Thinking about placing a breeding trio . Don't think I ever saw a starter Cardigan kennel available ! I remember when I was starting in Cardigans , I could only buy one retired Cardigan for her last litter . Buying a trio ; DM tested , champion bloodlines , & pedigree compatible . . . would have saved me 15 years . It takes a special person to start a Cardigan kennel , foolish enough but not too crazy !

Passover & Easter Overlap !
Guess because Man was Hunter Gather before agriculture based cultures , the seasons were important to survival . Development of religions celebrated this . This would explain the overlap of Pagan , non Christian , & Christian celebrations .
As a NYC kid my dad would march in both Protestant & Catholic parades to collect cake & ice cream ! Our Cardigans , with us for 3000 years , celebrated with Pagans , non-Christans , & Christians alike ! What I can't understand , how did the Easter Bunny Get to carry the Easter Eggs ?

Human Nature vs Cardigan Nature !
Reaching for 74 years & experienced Human Nature at its best & worse , I'd say Human Nature is mostly governed by convience . Have whelped Cardigans for 20 plus years , with 46 litters , I'd say Cardigan Nature is governed mostly by instinct . A big part of Cardigan Nature / Instinct is loyalty .
Both Humans & Cardigans have the same curve from exceptional to questionable . However I met more Cardigans that I like of worthy character than humans .

National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day !
Most pills are covered in liverwurst to tempt my Cardigans , but a few like peanut butter . I like both ! Favorite peanut butter ? Mine is carried at Aldi's , stays spreadable in refrigerator ! Gotta have strawberry jelly . If run out of jelly , peanut butter straight on Aldi's Round Crackers . Both peanut butter & crackers at bargain prices !

How To Glue Cardigan Ears !
Dog Ear Instructions
Using Tear MenderTM on Dog Ears
Tear Mender is a convenient and effective alternative to using tape or bandages for shaping dog ears. It is safe, non-toxic, and wash-proof, staying put until removal is desired. NOTE: Ear position varies by breed and the dog’s natural set, so be sure to CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL OR BREED MANUAL for proper positioning.
Preparation of the Ear:
Hair on the inside of the ear flap SHOULD NOT be removed.
The ear canal should be flushed with hydrogen peroxide. Let the ear dry for 10
minutes before proceeding.
Using cotton dipped in alcohol, clean the outside and inside of the ear flap.
Application of Tear Mender:
Apply Tear Mender to the hair on the area of the head to which the ear flap is to be affixed.
Apply Tear Mender to the upper portion (tip) of the inside of the ear flap.
The ear flap can now be positioned by bringing the tip in contact with the head as
desired, gluing ear hair to head hair and holding it in place for 30 seconds or until hold sets.
NOTE: Ear position varies by breed and the dog’s natural set, so be sure to CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL OR BREED MANUAL for proper positioning.
The position should be watched for a few days, and reposition if adjustment is needed.
The ear set should be left until hair growth loosens it. The ear flap is then gently separated from the head, and the adhesive is easily peeled off.
Removal:
On Dog – Apply bandage remover, available at drugstores (we suggest Uni-SolveTM, DetacholTM, or a little baby oil) to hair and then use extra fine flea comb.
On Owner – Tear Mender easily rubs off fingers and solid surfaces. It is user-friendly and bonds only to surfaces it can penetrate.
