 It will happen . A few days of warming up your TG meal , the stuffing will dry out , sweet potatoes change to a dull brown , & turkey overload hits ! Two words of magic . . . Muffin Mix ! Blend all these now questionable ingredients & find your muffin tins ! Like magic , these main menu items that lost appeal , now become interesting side treats !

Macy’s Parade followed by dog show tomorrow ! Dogs are excited with pending leftovers ! Then the big event . . . turkey sandwiches ! By next week , only the dogs will be excited about turkey ! Plan is to freeze some for a future date . . . but why ? . . . have 3 more turkeys in freezer !

Setting Up Next Spring Garden !

This Spring garden was a failure ! Extended heat spells & rain almost every day , stunted garden . Then I had to fight mice , chipmunks , & sparrows for produce ! Neighbor insisted on feeding sparrows all summer . This attracted vermin seeking spilt seeds . 

First response was pinwheels , fake owls , sprays , netting , & pesticides . Nothing worked & neighbor kept feeding the sparrows . Then I realized , location , location , location ! If my garden was located on pavement with raised containers , dogs could run under tables & scare off critters ! Made pallets into tables & Copper approves !

To Breed . . . Or Not To Breed ?

 Back to back heat waves & rain almost every day , ruined my vegetable garden . Then neighbors feeding birds , drew hungry mice & chipmunks ! Next year will do better , with containers on tables over Cardigan runs .

Cardigans didn't do much better ! There were no emails of puppy interest this Summer . A few inquiries early Spring , not enough for Big Ears to plan Fall litters . Maybe if interest swells , we'll think about Spring/Summer litters ?
