Memorial Weekend !

Quick story my dad told me . He served with Patton in WW2 . It was 6 against a 1000 ! Day after day , they were attacked . Day & night . Ran out of food , water ,& ammo . Only thing that saved them , they were held up in a cave . Finally they made a plan , if one man could attack the leader , maybe the others could run for help . My dad looked around at the men , too weak to fight . All they had was a pointed stick . My dad grabbed the stick & ran out to save the others . To this day my dad would say "  They were the toughest 6 we ever fought ! " .
